Fort Worth Opera opens its 81st season with internationally renowned Trinidadian soprano Jeanine De Bique in a one-night-only recital with Belgian pianist Aaron Wajnberg. The program "Silent Stories: A Grain of Light" spans Baroque repertoire, art songs, Caribbean folk songs and African American spirituals, with music by Purcell, Handel, André Previn and Henry T. Burleigh. About one hour, followed by a meet-and-greet with the artists. Cover image: AI-generated illustration.
