Free general admission. The anchor event of Denton Halloween — Denton was officially named the "Halloween Capital of Texas" through 2035. Saturday's main festival features the famous Coffin Races (check-in 10 AM, races 12-4 PM), Ballet Folklorico, mariachi bands, a Community Ofrenda, the Twilight Lantern and Costume Parade at 7 PM, Cirque du Horror performances, live music, food and crafts.
